Our Story
Radved is more than a name — it’s a principle.
The name comes from a small Danish town where a young man named Peter J. began his journey. With little more than determination and a willingness to sacrifice, Peter set out to build a life from the ground up. He arrived with nothing—and created something.
Radved became the soil where grit was planted and resilience took root. It was there that Peter learned the value of hard work—not just physical labor, but the daily decision to show up, to press forward, and to never settle. He left behind everything familiar—his homeland, his family, and his comfort—to pursue a new future in America.
The path was anything but easy. Hardship was constant. But Peter never wavered. His refusal to accept mediocrity, his unshakable belief in effort, and his conviction that work gives life meaning became the foundation of everything he built.
He worked the land by hand, chased opportunity across the rugged terrain of the American West, and built a new life from nothing. He became a successful miller, a builder, and a leader—and, most importantly, a loving husband and father—one whose legacy now spans generations.
